E1 laminate flooring is named in terms of the formaldehyde release of this type of product. The main part of this type of product is the support material which is at the third layer. In fact, minim formaldehyde release can’t do harm to people’s body. Europe Union sets up 3 grades for formaldehyde release: E1 ((≦10mg／1 00g), E2 (≦40mg／100g) and E3 (≦100mg／100g). For E1 rating, the formaldehyde release can be neglected. China E1 laminate flooring can be used for indoor purpose directly. The type of product is much more wearing resistant than hardwood flooring. But its foot feel is not as good as that of solid wood flooring.
